Terazije is a famous Belgrade square, dating from the 19th century, when craftsmen and blacksmiths built the first houses at this location. Today it covers the area from Sremska street all the way to Kralja Milana street. One of the most distinguishable symbols is definitely “Moskva“ Hotel. Built at the beginning of the last century, it is undoubtedly an important architectural gem of the Serbian capital. Right in front of the magnificent building stands a stone fountain, known as “Terazijska česma“ — the oldest landmark on Terazije square, constructed in honor of knez Miloš Obrenović.
